How it works

Most days, Start work is the only button you press.

  1. Tap Start work

Forgot? When you pull up to one of your rentals, your phone asks if you want to start, and counts from when you arrived.

  2. Drive and work as usual

Drives to your rentals are marked business on their own. Time on site is kept separate from drive time. A new address gets one quick swipe.

  3. Export at year end

One tap gives you a spreadsheet with every drive, visit and task, totals by property, and your Jan 1 and Dec 31 odometer readings.

There is no Landlord Log account and no server holding your trips.

Stored on your device

Trips, hours, addresses and photos are saved on your iPhone. We never receive them.

GPS only while you work

When you're not working, your phone just watches your rental addresses, without running GPS.

You choose what to share

Nothing leaves the app until you export a file and send it to your CPA yourself.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Tracking, exports and every goal are free. There's no account to create.

Does it drain my battery?

GPS only runs while you're working and driving. The rest of the time your phone watches your rental addresses using low-power location, the same way Find My does.

Does drive time count toward REPS?

That's a question for your tax professional. Landlord Log keeps drive time and on-site time separate so your CPA can decide.

What if I forget to start?

Your phone reminds you when you arrive at a rental. You can also add a drive or work time by hand for any date.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Landlord Log is iPhone only for now.
